Project Director

Job Summary

You'll lead delivery of all MIC projects, from contract award to final acceptance and collection. Our Project Managers will report to you, and you'll sit on the Management Committee, reporting to the COO & General Manager. You'll be accountable for three things: projects delivered on time and safely, margins at or above the bid estimate, and billings collected.

What You'll Do

• Lead all active projects in power, transmission, telecom and solar/BESS, and deploy PMs, site teams and equipment across them
• Approve project execution plans, run weekly progress reviews, and put recovery plans in place when a project slips
• Own each project's P&L, including variation orders, progress billing, subcontractor payments and collections
• Act as MIC's senior contact for clients, and work with NGCP, LGUs, electric cooperatives and regulators on permits and energization
• Enforce safety (RA 11058) and QA/QC standards on every site, with zero lost-time incidents as the goal
• Coach and develop PMs and OM, and roll out standard project procedures and reporting

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering, licensed PEE or REE
• 12+ years in EPC or utility construction, including 5+ years managing several projects at once or leading PMs
• Hands-on delivery in at least two of these: distribution/substations, 69kV+ transmission, telecom site builds, utility-scale solar or BESS
• Proven track record with project budgets, variation orders, billing and collections
• Working knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code and NGCP or electric cooperative energization requirements
• Willing to travel to sites nationwide

Nice to have: electric cooperative, NGCP or telco background; IIEE member; PMP or COSH; MS Project or Primavera
