Project Director

Infinite Engineering HK Limited is seeking an experienced Project Direct to join our multi-disciplinary team. This senior leadership role will drive the successful delivery of large-scale civil, structural and complex building projects across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in full-cycle project management of mega-scale developments, value engineering, cost optimization and high-quality execution in demanding construction environments.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to landmark infrastructure and building projects while collaborating with our team of Civil, Geotechnical and Structure Engineers and leveraging our strong track record in government-listed consultancy work (EACSB Group 1), ISO-certified quality management and international theme park/landmark projects.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

• Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale construction projects, including urban complexes, high-rise residential/commercial developments, public housing, hospitals, infrastructure extensions and specialized structures.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost control, quality assurance, safety and timely delivery from foundation through to handover,
• Implement value engineering solutions to achieve significant cost savings and schedule acceleration without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams, subcontractors and stakeholders (clients, government bodies, consultants and contractors) to ensure seamless coordination and problem resolution.
• Drive innovation in construction methods, materials and technologies with emphasis on efficiency, decarbonization potential and compliance with international/HK standards (including NEC contracts where applicable)
• Conduct risk assessment, independent checking (ICE), temporary works design/review and technical problem-solving for complex elements such as deep foundations, super high-rises, large span steel structures and specialized concrete works.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and relevant Hong Kong regulations (Buildings Department, Highways, CEDD etc)
• Mentor and develop project teams, fostering a culture of professionalism, focus and excellence.

Requirements & Qualifications :

• Experience : 15+ years in construction project management, with a strong track record leading large-scale projects (e.g. super high-rises, stadiums/sports venues, urban complexes, publi8c housing, or major infrastructure) valued at hundreds of millions USD/RMB. Proven success in full project lifecycle delivery as Project Director or equivalent.
• Expertise : Deep knowledge of foundation engineering, structural works, temporary works, quality control, cost management and resources optimization. Experience with complex concrete pours, steel structures, BIM coordination and advanced construction techniques is highly desirable.
• Achievements : Demonstrated history of delivering projects on time/budget, achieving major cost savings (multi-million USD scale), and earning industry awards or recognitions for quality and innovation.
• Skills : Strong leadership and team management capabilities; excellent stakeholder communication; proficiency in project programming, value engineering and risk mitigation. Familiarity with HK or Greater Bay Area regulatory environments is a significant advantage.
• Education & Certifications : Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field. Professional qualifications (eg Project Management certifications) preferred. Bilingual proficiency (English & Mandarin) is essential.
