Project Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Director to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception through completion. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction management, and proficiency in advanced project management software. As a Project Director, you will drive project success by managing teams, coordinating schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining budgets. Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across construction sites, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative environment
• Develop comprehensive project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate timelines effectively
• Oversee construction budget management, including cost estimating, tracking expenditures, and managing financial risks using HeavyBid or comparable tools
• Ensure strict adherence to construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies throughout all project phases
• Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to facilitate accurate execution of work
• Coordinate construction schedule activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize workflow and resource allocation
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or Bluebeam for documentation, progress tracking, and communication purposes
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control measures, and compliance with safety protocols
• Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), daily reports, and regulatory filings
• Lead negotiations with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly while maintaining positive relationships

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a focus on civil engineering or related fields
• Strong proficiency in project management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling techniques, cost management strategies, and regulatory compliance standards
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining high safety standards
• Skilled in reading construction plans and schematics accurately to guide project execution
• Deep understanding of contracts administration and construction law principles
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines
• Construction site experience with familiarity in managing complex infrastructure projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of safety and excellence
