WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PROJECTS

As Project Director, you will lead large, multidisciplinary project teams covering civil, structural, architectural and interfacing MEP works. Projects are typically high-value, programme-critical builds where early planning, logistics and sequencing are fundamental to success.

The role is location flexible, with travel to project sites across Europe as required. This gives you control over where you live while staying at the forefront of some of the most significant construction activity on the continent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hold overall accountability for the safe, timely and profitable delivery of major construction projects across Europe
• Lead CSA delivery strategy, including enabling works, substructure, frame and envelope, and their interface with MEP packages
• Direct and develop project teams, including Project Managers, construction, engineering and commercial leads
• Act as the senior point of contact for clients, design teams and key stakeholders
• Oversee programme, cost, risk and quality performance, taking decisive action to protect project outcomes
• Provide contractual leadership under NEC, FIDIC or bespoke forms, working closely with the commercial function
• Champion a strong health and safety culture across every site under your leadership
• Contribute to business development, bid strategy and the growth of the European delivery platform

WHAT YOU NEED

• A proven track record at Project Director or Senior Project Manager level on large-scale construction projects
• Strong CSA background, with experience leading civil, structural and architectural packages on complex builds
• Experience on data centre, mission-critical or other technically complex projects is beneficial but not essential
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and manage senior client relationships
• Sound contractual and commercial understanding, ideally including NEC or FIDIC
• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Willingness to travel to project locations across Europe
