Project Director (MEPFS)

About the role

Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Director to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, this is a strategic leadership position that oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and systems (MEPFS) projects. As Project Director, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards whilst maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and adhering to all regulatory requirements. This role is central to our company's success and offers the opportunity to lead high-impact construction projects in a dynamic market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all phases of MEPFS project delivery from pre-construction planning through to final completion and handover
• Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules whilst identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Manage project teams including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all stakeholders
• Monitor project progress against established KPIs and take corrective action to maintain schedule and budget compliance
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site, promoting a culture of safety excellence
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance
• Manage client relationships and communications, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns promptly
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to optimise cost and performance
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and coordinate approvals for MEPFS systems installations and commissioning
• Prepare detailed project documentation, reports, and closeout documentation upon project completion

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in project management within the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with MEPFS (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems) projects
• Strong understanding of Philippine building codes, regulations, and standards applicable to MEP systems
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget
• Excellent project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Advanced proficiency with project management software and construction management tools
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices and compliance requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable
• Experience working in the Philippine construction market is preferred
