PROJECT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Job Description:

We are looking for a Project Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the electrical design, computation, planning, and technical implementation of solar energy projects. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of electrical systems and actual experience in solar PV system design and computation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical calculations and solar PV system sizing based on project requirements and site conditions.
• Conduct load analysis and determine appropriate PV capacity, inverter sizing, cable sizing, breakers, and other electrical components.
• Prepare and review Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical plans, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Prepare electrical design, estimates, and Bill of Materials (BOM/BOQ) for solar projects.
• Conduct site assessments and evaluate existing electrical systems for solar installation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project teams regarding electrical requirements.
• Monitor and supervise electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable electrical standards.
• Review technical documents, drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical and solar system issues during project implementation.
• Ensure proper documentation and completion of electrical project requirements.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Registered and Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
• With experience in solar PV system design, electrical computation, or solar installation projects.
• Knowledgeable in electrical load computation, PV system sizing, inverter selection, cable sizing, and protection devices.
• Must be able to read and prepare electrical plans and Single-Line Diagrams.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of PVsyst or other solar design software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to conduct site visits and supervise project implementation.
• Experience in preparing electrical estimates, BOM/BOQ, and project documentation is preferred.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
