Project Electrical Engineer (Data Center)

They focus on supporting cloud service providers, hyperscalers, AI workloads, and enterprise customers with secure, scalable, and energy-efficient digital infrastructure.

Job descriptions:

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, UPS systems, lighting, grounding, cable management, and equipment setup.

• Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and other technical submissions.

• Support commissioning activities, integrated systems testing, and final project handover processes.

• Monitor site progress and ensure construction activities are executed according to the approved project schedule.

• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with local regulations, applicable codes, international standards, and project specifications.

• Participate in and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) as required.

• Conduct site inspections and verify that installation quality, workmanship, and materials meet the intended design and quality requirements.

• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, particularly the MEP team, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of all building systems.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to address technical issues, resolve site challenges, and maintain project progress.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in electrical construction, installation, and site supervision, with hands-on involvement in LV/HV systems. Experience in data center, mission-critical facilities, or similar infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of data center standards and best practices, including Uptime Institute requirements, commissioning processes, energy-efficient electrical systems, and sustainable/green building principles.
• Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to supervise site activities, coordinate with multiple parties, solve technical issues, and manage priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with engineering and project management tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other relevant design and construction software.
• Languages: Professional proficiency in both Thai and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical and project-related environments.
