Project Engineer (3-month contract, extendable)

About the role

Olabs Technology Company Limited is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team on a 3-month contract basis, with the potential for extension. This is a contract position based in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai District.

As a Project Engineer, you will serve as a critical link between technical teams, stakeholders and management, driving project success through effective coordination, problem-solving and technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

- Site Supervision: Inspect daily on-site work to ensure it matches safety rules and project plans

- Coordination: Run meetings, and coordinate between internal departments, sub-contractors and clients

- Progress Tracking: Follow the work schedule, monitor material deliveries, and report to the project supervisor

- Technical Submissions: Prepare method statements, review technical drawings, and prepare material or equipment approvals

- Testing and Handover: Help test, commission, and hand-over project to clients

What we're looking for

- Education: A Higher Diploma/Certificate/ Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or a related field

- Experience: 1 to 3 years of working experience in construction or E&M engineering

- Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings

- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills between different parties
