Project Engineer 4 (Virtual)

For our client, we are seeking a Project Engineer 4 (Virtual) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will lead complex, cross-functional project efforts in a highly regulated technical environment, coordinating multiple disciplines to deliver defined project outcomes. The position will partner closely with internal stakeholders to shape scope, manage deliverables, and keep work moving toward quality, schedule, and risk-management goals. Success in this role will require strong communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to guide teams through change and ensure disciplined execution.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $127,500 – $197,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals
• Develop, review, and approve statements of work (SOW)
• Assess impacts of changes to project scope and negotiate deliverables
• Execute project plans ensuring timely completion and quality standards
• Identify and plan for project risks and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years in project engineering or a related field
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
