Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Architectural Metal to manage and coordinate architectural metal projects from project award through fabrication, site installation, and final handover.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in architectural metal, structural steel, aluminium, metal cladding, staircases, handrails, balustrades, pergolas, canopies, and other custom metal works, with excellent project and site coordination skills.

A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage architectural metal projects from commencement to completion and handover.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Review and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, architectural drawings, structural drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with the design and drafting teams to resolve technical issues and site discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the factory/production team for fabrication schedules, material requirements, and delivery.
• Supervise and monitor site installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site measurements, inspections, and technical coordination meetings.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and installation activities.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
• Coordinate material submittals, method statements, RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, and other project documentation.
• Ensure works are completed within the approved quality, safety, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate snagging, rectification, final inspection, and project handover.
• Identify technical and execution issues and provide practical solutions.
• Monitor material usage, wastage, variations, and project requirements.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of UAE experience in architectural metal, metal fabrication, structural steel, aluminium, façade, or related construction works.
• Strong experience in architectural metal works such as:
• Staircases
• Handrails & balustrades
• Pergolas & canopies
• Metal cladding
• Decorative metal works
• Aluminium works
• Structural steel
• Custom architectural metal works
• Strong knowledge of shop drawings, fabrication, site installation, and project execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good knowledge of project documentation and construction procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and site activities simultaneously.
• Valid UAE Driving License – Mandatory.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
