About the Role

Our client is a premier main contractor in Hong Kong renowned for delivering marquee building and infrastructure developments. Driven by strategic expansion in mission-critical facilities, they are seeking dynamic Project Engineers and Assistant Project Engineers specialized in data center projects to drive high-spec E&M and building services delivery. (Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Project Engineer role.)

Key Responsibilities

• Data Center E&M Execution: Lead and coordinate complex on-site E&M installations (focusing on high-density MVAC/HVAC, chillers, power distribution, and ELV systems) specifically tailored for mission-critical data center environments.
• Technical Rigor & Submittals: Review critical technical drawings, method statements, and strict compliance documentation required for high-availability data center standards.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a key liaison between clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Testing & Commissioning (T&C): Oversee rigorous T&C procedures to guarantee 100% operational reliability and redundancy in mission-critical setups.
• Project Governance & Resource Control: Prepare progress updates, technical reports, manage schedules, and control costs to meet stringent delivery milestones.

Requirements

• Education: Degree or Higher Diploma in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant contractor-side experience in E&M or Building Services project execution.
• Data Center Exposure: Prior hands-on experience working on data centers or mission-critical facilities is a strong prerequisite.
• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of critical cooling, power, and ELV systems, T&C procedures, and complex on-site coordination.
• Attributes: Proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills, structured execution, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
