Job Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our specialized mission-critical team, stationed in either Hong Kong or Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge electrical design and project execution for flagship Data Center and Hospital / Healthcare developments across both regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Design & Engineering: Prepare high-reliability electrical design works independently for mission-critical facilities, focusing on main power distribution systems, high-voltage systems, emergency power/UPS, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Sector Expertise: Apply design principles tailored to Data Centers (redundancy, power usage efficiency, continuous power) and Hospitals / Healthcare facilities (isolated power supply, critical power supply continuity, statutory health building standards).
• Reports & Assessment: Deliver comprehensive feasibility study reports, detailed design reports, technical notes, and tender assessment reports.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate among internal project teams, clients, architects, and specialist contractors to facilitate seamless project implementation.
• Team Supervision: Supervise junior engineers, supporting work allocation, technical design reviews, and professional mentorship.
• Tendering & Commercial Support: Participate in technical proposal preparation, compile tender documents, prepare construction cost estimations, and provide tendering assistance.
• Site Administration: Conduct construction administration tasks, including submittals review, site inspections, and monitoring of site works.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in E&M consultancy, with hands-on involvement in Data Center and/or Hospital / Healthcare projects.
• Professional Membership: Corporate membership of HKIE, CIBSE, IET, PEB, or equivalent professional bodies is an advantage.
• Regulatory & Technical Knowledge: Well-versed in HK / Singapore design guidelines, codes of practice, safety standards, data center certifications (e.g., Uptime Institute), and statutory submission/approval procedures.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Applications, and relevant electrical simulation software.
• Languages: Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.

(Note: Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Project Engineer position.)
