Project Engineer C&S - LSS5

About the role

Manage on-site construction works, materials and document management for renewable energy infrastructure projects. Lead the team in planning, scheduling, conduction and coordinating works, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety requirements. Prepare reports and technical documents to present solar design and feasibility findings, and evaluate the economic, engineering, or pragmatic feasibility of solar installation projects based on electrical or architectural plans.

Key responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction works, materials and document management
• Lead the team in planning, scheduling, conduction and coordinating the works
• Ensure that on-site construction works are carried out according to local regulations and requirements, especially safety requirements
• Ensure project requirements are documented and agreed to ensure that project activity meets agreed project objectives
• Ensure project resources have the correct toolsets and processes in place and that all relevant staff are trained and equipped to deliver successfully
• Prepare reports and technical documents to present solar design and feasibility findings
• Evaluate the economic, engineering, or pragmatic feasibility of solar installation projects based on electrical or architectural plans on existing or new construction buildings
• Attend pre-construction meetings and/or tender meetings
• Develop and implement strategies as per the planned schedule to align project direction with strategy, goals and commitments

About you

• Significant experience at a senior level in project management with 5 years of working experience
• Degree in Civil & Structural
• Background in construction, EPCC or solar experience
• Strong project and contract management and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organization
• Developed project and programme management and planning skills and experience
• Good understanding of performance management framework and tools in the delivery of business objectives
• Preferably short-notice period to serve
