What they need
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of civil engineering projects.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure project requirements are understood and implemented.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely project delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues during project execution.
- Prepare project schedules, progress reports, technical reports, and project documentation.
- Monitor project costs and assist in budget control and cost management.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
- Review and certify work completed by contractors for progress claims and payments.
- Manage procurement of construction materials and ensure timely delivery to site.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and applicable regulations.
- Support project planning, risk assessment, and mitigation activities.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project records, including correspondence, reports, inspections, and change orders.
- Assist with project close-out activities, including final inspections, handover documentation, and defect rectification.
