About the role

The Project Engineer will act as subject matter expert (SME) / consultant to the business sectors of Integrated Logistics. The Project Engineer (Civil) will provide technical and project management support across all functions within the Integrated Logistics team and liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding civil engineering and construction-related matters.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical and project management support for civil, structural, and infrastructure-related projects.
• Using AutoCAD, prepare, review, and coordinate civil and structural engineering drawings, layouts, plans, and technical documentation with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure design compliance and project requirements are met.
• Provide engineering solutions and technical recommendations to resolve site issues, construction challenges, and project-related concerns while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory stakeholders regarding technical requirements, project coordination, and engineering-related concerns.
• Review project specifications, technical proposals, engineering calculations, cost estimates, drawings, and design documents to ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, assessments, and surveys to support project planning, design development, implementation, and quality assurance activities.
• Coordinate project activities, construction schedules, contractor deliverables, and project handover requirements to support timely and successful project execution.
• Prepare and consolidate technical reports, project updates, cost estimates, progress billings, and other documentation required for project monitoring, evaluation, and client reporting.
• Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility assessments, and risk reviews to support project planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

• Must be a Registered Civil Engineer (under Professional Regulation Commission – PRC) of the Philippines
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in the civil engineering discipline
• With a solid project management background
• With a solid HSE background
• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, power, renewable energy, marine, logistics, or construction-related projects preferred
• Knowledgeable of engineering design & pre-construction, construction & infrastructure management, contract administration & quality assurance
• Knowledgeable of engineering drawings, technical specifications, regulatory compliance
• Knowledgeable of project management, risk management and stakeholder coordination
• Interpersonal and management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent technical reporting skills
