Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and execute thermographic inspections for buildings, civil structures, and infrastructure projects.
• Perform infrared thermal surveys to detect moisture intrusion, water leakage, insulation defects, delamination, and structural anomalies.
• Inspect roofs, faades, walls, concrete structures, flooring systems, and building envelopes using thermal imaging equipment.
• Analyze thermal images and prepare professional inspection reports with findings and recommendations.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain thermographic cameras and related inspection tools.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and site engineers to ensure timely project execution.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, and industry standards.
• Maintain inspection records, technical documentation, and project reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of infrared thermography for civil and building inspections.
• Hands-on experience with thermal imaging cameras (FLIR, Fluke, Hikmicro, Testo, or equivalent).
• Understanding of building defects, moisture detection, insulation assessment, and structural condition monitoring.
• Ability to interpret thermal images and prepare technical reports.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and thermographic reporting software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Level I or Level II Infrared Thermography Certification.
• 2-5 years of experience in thermographic inspections, building diagnostics, or civil infrastructure inspections.
• Experience in construction, facility management, or infrastructure projects.
