Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide schedule input for design tasks and preparation of task budgets and support senior engineers in developing and reviewing designs and construction.
• Review plans, prepare, and review technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates, and resolve complex problems, e.g., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
• Participate in project working meetings, manage meeting minute, tasks, review contractor submittals and support the installation of power systems equipment, components, software, communication protocol, etc.
• Supervise sub-contractor works and/or provide technical supports to assigned projects.
• Regular project reporting such as progress, planning, financial, site safety etc.
• Work to customer satisfaction and meet schedule and budget constraints per project demands.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Operation Manager, e.g., execute projects according to company SOX, IMS & and cyber security requirements.
• Handle 24/7 emergency service work with team. (Over-Time pay provided)
• Act as a bridge between end customers and company’s factories and third party's suppliers for detail design, manufacturing & delivery schedule, factory acceptance tests and after sales services following up.
• Practice highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure a safe working environment.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/High Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experiences in power electrical HV/MV substations.
• Candidate with Grade B Registered Electrical Worker Certificate would be an advantage.
• Experiences in test and commissioning of HV power transmission and distribution substation or the secondary equipment of the power substation is definitely an advantage.
• Good analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to be flexible and work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to work under pressure.
• Good command of spoken and written in both English and Chinese.
• Possesses of valid driver license is definitely an advantage.
