PROJECT ENGINEER

• Prepare and review project cost estimates for civil and electrical works.

• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare material and labor cost estimates.

• Review project plans, specifications, and technical drawings.

• Prepare project budgets, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost proposals.

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams regarding project requirements and costing.

• Monitor project costs and ensure compliance with approved budgets.

• Evaluate material and equipment quotations and recommend cost-effective options.

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and implementation.

• Monitor project progress and identify potential cost variances.

• Prepare project cost reports and other required documentation.

• Ensure projects comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and company requirements.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Immediate Superior.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer or Electrical Engineer.
• At least 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably with strong experience in project costing.
• Experience in civil and/or electrical estimating, quantity take-off, and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and project requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of estimating or project management software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Willing to conduct site visits and work in project locations as required.
