Project Engineer

At Dempsey Wood, we invest in people worth investing in. We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Northland, in a permanent role.

This is a site-based role, responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the site, liaising with clients & subcontractors, updating the contract programme, processing invoices, supporting with payment claims, & engaging the wider site team to deliver quality work on-time & within budget.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years’ site-based experience in earthworks &/or civil infrastructure
• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Financial acumen and attention to detail
• Passion for Health & Safety
• Great communication skills
• Full Class 1 license
• Follows instructions, uses initiative, applies common sense, takes pride in your work.
