Project Engineer

Roles And Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution
• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop technical project plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Engineering & Technical Support
• Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and engineering challenges.
• Coordination & Communication
• Work closely with project managers, designers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Serve as a point of contact between engineering teams and clients.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders.
• Quality Control & Compliance
• Ensure that all engineering work meets industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspections and quality control checks during project execution.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Risk Management & Problem-Solving
• Identify potential risks, delays, or technical challenges, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering-related issues to ensure project continuity.
• Maintain safety compliance and ensure adherence to best engineering practices.
• Budgeting & Cost Control
• Assist in budget planning, cost estimation, and expense tracking.
• Ensure projects remain within the allocated budget.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of engineering specifications and changes.
• Generate technical reports and submit findings to project managers.
