This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer with strong Transport and Main Roads (TMR) experience to take on a key role delivering civil infrastructure projects across North Queensland.

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in civil construction and TMR projects. You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects, working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support across civil construction and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of project works.
• Manage project documentation, quality requirements and technical records.
• Monitor project progress, costs, variations and subcontractor performance.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants and clients.
• Assist with procurement, material requirements and subcontractor management.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications, TMR requirements and relevant Australian Standards.
• Support quality assurance, inspections, testing and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues throughout project delivery.
• Assist with project programming, reporting and forecasting.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across project sites.

What You Bring to the Team

• Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering or project engineering roles.
• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience delivering Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and project delivery.
• Experience working with project specifications, drawings, quality documentation and technical requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a project team.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs and variations.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to pass relevant pre-employment checks.
