We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Project Engineer to join our Head Office team to support the planning, coordination, documentation, and successful execution of our construction projects throughout Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor project activities from the Head Office and on site
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare project schedules, work programmes, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and manage project documentation including RFIs, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, inspection requests, and consultant instructions.
• Assist in procurement planning and material coordination.
• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Conduct site visits when required to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance.
• Ensure projects comply with contractual requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Prepare and monitor progress work done and percentage of work every month.
• Work closely with Managing Director and Project Director

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent engineering qualification.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction specifications.

• Knowledge of JKR projects, CIDB requirements, QA/QC procedures, and project documentation will be an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with Microsoft Project and AutoCAD is preferred.

• Good communication, coordination, and organisational skills.

• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently.

• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence and be willing to travel for site visits.
