Job Responsibilities :

1. Coordinate and monitor daily site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and the project schedule.
2. Monitor project progress against the approved master programme, identify potential delays, and implement or recommend corrective and recovery actions to achieve timely project completion.
3. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of workmanship, materials, and completed works comply with contract requirements, approved standards, and industry best practices.
4. Inspect and verify completed works prior to covering up or proceeding to subsequent construction stages to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
5. Coordinate and liaise with contractors, consultants, utility providers, authorities, and internal departments to facilitate smooth project execution and timely resolution of technical and site issues.
6. Review construction drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and technical proposals, identifying design discrepancies, constructability issues, and potential conflicts at an early stage.
7. Monitor project risks, technical issues, and cost impacts, escalate critical matters promptly, and recommend practical mitigation measures to management.
8. Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, authority approvals, and defect rectification to facilitate smooth project completion, handover, and the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
9. Prepare and maintain project reports, site records, meeting minutes, inspection reports, and progress updates, ensuring accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
10. Support the Project Manager in delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while continuously identifying opportunities for process and project improvement.
11. Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
2. Registered Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia will be an added advantage.
3. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in building construction, infrastructure, or property development.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
5. Willing to travel and work at project sites.
6. Willing to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required to support project schedules and critical milestones.
