Project Engineer

We are looking for Project Engineer to support the Project Manager on their daily activities.  He/She must demonstrate the right attitude and strong work ethics, with the ability to perform well under pressure, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to evolving project priorities.

This is not a desk-only role. You will be involved in real projects, trials, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities :-

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimise project delays and cost overruns.
• To ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring that works are executed efficiently, attending site meetings and reporting to Project Manager in charge of the respective projects.
• Working closely with contractors, subcontractors or architects to ensure smooth progress of the project within budgeted cost, timeframe without compromising on the quality standards.
• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials, ensuring their compliance with industry standards.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, change orders and quality control measures.
• To ensure minimal wastage at site and ensuring that housekeeping are regularly performed
• Take up any ad-hoc responsibilities assigned.

Requirements :-

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction or its related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Proactive, independent with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative with minimal supervision.
• Matured, enthusiastic, team player, and able to work under pressure.
• Possess own transport, willing to travel and to be relocated to various project sites.
• Able to start immediately would be an added advantage.
