Project Engineer

About the role

This is a bridge engineering position requiring expertise in structural analysis and design documentation. The role involves reviewing technical requirements, creating detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming RfQ and determine appropriate methodology
• Create implementation drawings and shop drawings
• Adapt designer drawings to actual site conditions
• Create final work drawings and as-built documentation
• Plan operational drawing activities
• Create working drawings for building element products, including 3D drawings for each element of the product system
• Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other technical data from engineers to ensure alignment with design concepts
• Provide documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to inform others on how devices, parts, equipment, or structures will be made, built, modified, maintained, or used
• Conduct site surveys both within and outside the city
• Present work methods to clients

About you

• Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering (Structure) or Civil
• Minimum 3 years working experience in bridge engineering
• Strong fundamentals in structural analysis
• Proficient in structural analysis software: SAP2000, CSi Bridge, or Midas Civil
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Fluent in English both written and oral
• Strong determination to learn and achieve goals
• Able to work collaboratively with team members
• Able to meet targets set by supervisors
• Available for coordination with supervisors and clients outside working hours
