PROJECT ENGINEER

We are looking for a Project Engineer to manage and deliver telecommunication and infrastructure projects from planning through handover. This role involves technical coordination, commercial control, site supervision, and client engagement to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and accordance with the required quality, safety and technical standards.

Job Description:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage telecommunication infrastructure projects (fiber, tower, and solar systems).
• Review and ensure designs comply with technical specifications, contract standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct site assessments and identify potential challenges such as geographical constraints, regulatory requirements, or existing infrastructure limitations.
• Liaise with local authorities and relevant agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Monitor project progress, costings, variations, budget control and prepare claims when required.
• Coordinate with contractors and supervise construction or implementation works to ensure compliance with approved plans.
• Ensure testing, commissioning, and project handover are completed successfully.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and technical submissions.
• Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings and ensure designs meet technical specifications and contract requirements.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, technical advice and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure testing, commissioning, and project handover are completed successfully.
• Lead site teams and support achievement of project and departmental KPIs.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/ Telecommunication/ Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.

• Minimum **2 years'**of working experience in related field.

• Experience incivil infrastructure works, Tower , Fiber Optic Network, Telecommunication infrastructure, and/or Solar System projects is a strong advantage.

• Proficient in AutoCAD; able to prepare, interpret and review technical drawings.

• Experience dealing with government authorities, local councils and regulatory bodies.

• Proficient in MS Office with intermediate Excel skills, knowledge of Microsoft Project is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with effective communication abilities.

• Hands-on, proactive, independent, and able to work with minimum supervision.

• Willing to travel and be site-based when required.

• Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
