PROJECT ENGINEER

About the role

Responsible for project coordination activities and execute established plan. Enhance product manufacture process and provide support to operation. Ensure on time delivery and good quality product to customer. Manage and maintain product technical information. Ensure information are up to date and proliferate into relevant department involved. Provide technical consultancies and support to all relevant parties for potential business and opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor assigned project activities or tasks according to project schedule/planning
• Review new product technical information
• Perform communication with customer and related parties regarding any discrepancy or doubt regarding technical information to obtain their approval
• Ensure manufacturing flow is carrying out according to project schedule to prevent unforeseen circumstances
• Establish product inspection check list, visual and inspection criteria for new product if documents are not applicable by customer
• Perform data analysis and failure analysis report for customer complaint regarding technical or workmanship issues
• Follow Pentamaster ISO procedures and requirements and feedback to superior if procedures are not able to follow or meet work requirements
• Ensure 5S's at work areas at all times for customer's spot check/audit
• Conduct weekly update meetings with clients to update progress and status via using a progress tracker
• Travel to client site to conduct face to face discussions with monitoring onsite progress and status

About you

• Degree in Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronic or Equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Able to perform work independently
• Technical background and knowledge in mechanical
• Able to understand mechanical drawing
• Proactive to learn and adapt to fast paced environment
