Project Engineer

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Engineer to support construction projects in the South Florida market. This role involves subcontract administration, project documentation, coordination with trade partners, and supporting project teams throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills and can effectively manage multiple project responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with selected trade partners and subcontractors
• Assist with subcontract administration and related documentation
• Define work scopes and respond to project inquiries
• Monitor subcontractor and trade-partner progress
• Review project documentation, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and field teams
• Support project scheduling, planning, and documentation
• Track project activities, deliverables, and important deadlines
• Assist with project communication and coordination
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation
• Help identify and communicate project issues or potential delays
• Perform additional project engineering and construction duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• Previous construction or project engineering experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to understand construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
• Professional attitude and commitment to construction quality and safety

Schedule

• Full-time position
• In-person construction and project environment
• Schedule may vary according to project requirements

Pay: $5,800.00 - $8,800.00 per month
