Project Engineer

Project Engineer supports the end-to-end project lifecycle, bridging product innovation with on-site execution. This hybrid role covers product design, prototyping, material sourcing, and testing, as well as supervising daily site operations, contractor workflows, QA/QC, and safety compliance. The Project Engineer works closely with internal teams, suppliers, and client stakeholders to ensure projects and products are delivered safely, on schedule, and to exact technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

·        Product Design & Prototyping: Execute R&D tasks by creating product designs, models, and prototypes using CAD tools, followed by testing and performance optimization.

·        On-Site Supervision & Workflow Management: Oversee daily site operations, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams to maintain project schedules.

·        Quality Control & Testing: Perform QA/QC inspections, material verifications, and site surveys to ensure work and products comply with approved drawings, standards, and method statements.

·        Technical Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Resolve engineering and site challenges during execution, collaborating with Senior Project Engineer and Project Director.

·        Supplier & Material Management: Source raw materials, liaise with fabricators and suppliers, obtain vendor quotes, and manage site inventory and storage.

·        HSE & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and legal regulations.

·        Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Purchasing, Production) and external stakeholders (clients, consultants) to align technical requirements and site progress.

·        Value Engineering & Continuous Improvement: Drive cost reductions, process optimizations, and product improvements to boost overall efficiency and quality.

·        Technical Documentation & IP Security: Maintain accurate project record including daily site logs, progress reports, test results, and product specifications while safeguarding company data and IP.

·        General Delivery Support: Perform additional engineering tasks, factory order reviews, and reporting as assigned by management to support total project execution.
