Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee and manage chiller installation, replacement, and upgrade projects specifically for Data Centers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Documentation & Compliance: Take full charge of preparing, submitting, and managing high-standard engineering documentation required by Data Center clients. This includes Technical Submittals, Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RAMS), Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Procedures & Reports, and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.

Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the key point of contact to coordinate closely with Data Center clients, consultant engineers, main contractors, and frontline technical staff to resolve technical and site progress issues.

Site Supervision: Monitor site progress, safety, and workmanship, ensuring strict compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and the stringent operational protocols of Data Center environments (e.g., zero downtime requirements).

Team Leadership: Lead and guide the project team, providing professional technical support and coordinating after-sales services.

Requirements:

Education: Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in HVAC / MVAC engineering.

Highly Preferred: Proven track record in Chiller installation and executing projects within Data Centers, Hospitals, or other Mission-Critical Facilities.

Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Language: Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. The ability to independently draft and manage professional, full-English engineering and technical documentation is essential.

Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications: Holder of a valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card). Registered Electrical Worker (REW) or Safety Supervisor qualification is a definite advantage.
