Project Engineer

Greville Consulting is growing, and are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join the Adelaide team.

Greville is an Australian-owned engineering and project management consultancy specialising in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
Greville works alongside Tier 1 contractors, government organisations and major project teams, providing experienced engineering and project management professionals across roads, rail, bridges, tunnels, utilities and major civil infrastructure.

The Opportunity
As a Project Engineer, you will work across major infrastructure projects, supporting clients and project teams throughout different stages of delivery.
Rather than being restricted to one project or one delivery environment, you will have the opportunity to work across different projects, clients and contractors, developing your technical, commercial and project management capability.

Your level of responsibility will grow with your experience, with Greville providing the support and mentoring required to help you progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support engineering activities across major infrastructure projects
• Provide technical and construction support to project and site teams
• Coordinate design, construction and project interfaces
• Assist with construction methodologies, staging and programme delivery
• Manage subcontractor and consultant interfaces
• Support procurement, variations, EOTs and commercial administration
• Monitor project costs, programme, quality and risk
• Develop strong relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
• Identify and drive practical solutions to project and engineering challenges
• Contribute to project reporting, governance and continuous improvement
• Take ownership of key project deliverables and engineering outcomes

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Experience with a Tier 1 contractor, major infrastructure contractor or equivalent
• Strong understanding of construction and project delivery
• Good commercial awareness across cost, programme and risk
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to take ownership and work effectively within project teams
• Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach

Experience across roads, rail, bridges, tunnels, utilities or major government infrastructure will be highly regarded.
