Project Engineer

About This Opportunity

Join MayAir Group, a global leader in air purification equipment and clean air solutions since 2001, as a Project Engineer. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting projects from tender stage through execution, installation, and final handover. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with technical specifications.

What You'll Do

• Lead tender support by providing technical clarifications, documentation, and engineering input
• Manage post-sales execution including coordinating technical drawings, material submissions, and project delivery timelines
• Supervise installation and commissioning works, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications
• Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients throughout project execution.
• Track project progress and documentation, and updates for Project Manager and clients

What You'll Need
Must Have

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Multi-lingual proficiency in Bahasa, English and Mandarin to effectively engage with Mandarin-speaking clients
• Willing to be based in Simpang Ampat, Penang and undertake overseas assignments

Good to Have:

• Experience in handling industrial, HVAC, M&E, or equipment supply projects
• Able to read, interpret, and prepare engineering drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
