Project Engineer

• Technical Execution
• Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications for designated scopes of work.
• Oversee installation and verify that all work meets project requirements and industry standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues in coordination with the PIC.
• Schedule Management & Progress Tracking
• Plan daily and weekly tasks in alignment with overall project timelines.
• Monitor work progress against the schedule, ensuring milestones are met.
• Coordinate closely with the PIC to address schedule deviations or resource constraints.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and installations (e.g., rebar placement checks, soil compaction tests).
• Document non-conformities and suggest corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the QC team or external inspectors to meet required standards.
• Coordination & Communication
• Maintain clear communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and fellow Project Engineers to align on technical requirements.
• Elevate critical issues, design changes, or field constraints to the PIC or CM for prompt resolution.
• Liaise with other departments (e.g., purchasing, QC) to ensure materials and information flow smoothly.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare technical documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure that all assigned work scopes are accurately documented and archived according to company policies.
• Safety & Health Compliance
• Enforce safety protocols and participate in regular toolbox meetings.
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards in coordination with site safety officers.
• Report any near-misses, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Other Responsibilities
• Assist in final inspections and punch-list preparations for assigned areas.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by the PIC or CM that align with the Project Engineer’s role.
