Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fresh Graduate Project Engineer to join our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) consulting team. The successful candidate will assist senior engineers in the design coordination, project documentation, site supervision, and technical support for building services engineering projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in M&E systems design, project coordination, and construction supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engineering & Design Support

• Assist in the preparation of M&E engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications for building services systems such as HVAC, electrical power, lighting, fire protection, plumbing, and ELV systems.
• Support senior engineers in design reviews and technical evaluations.
• Assist in preparing tender drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.

2. Project Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and clients on project requirements.
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and codes.

3. Site Supervision

• Attend site meetings and assist in monitoring site progress and installation quality.
• Conduct site inspections to verify M&E installations comply with design drawings and specifications.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during construction.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and meeting minutes.
• Maintain proper project documentation and records.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and project handover documentation.

5. Learning & Development

• Participate in internal technical training and mentorship programs.
• Continuously develop knowledge in building services engineering and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of M&E building systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other engineering design software is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
