Project Engineer

About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Project Engineer at STREAM ENVIRONMENT (S) PTE. LTD.', where you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of various construction initiatives within the Tampines East Region. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement project plans, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and propose effective solutions to address challenges
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and cost records
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure the successful completion of projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations
• Participate in regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to uphold high standards of workmanship

What we're looking for

• Recognized Degree or Diploma In Mechanical /Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar project engineering role within the construction industry
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project and Primavera
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with construction methodologies, building codes, and industry regulations
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work
