Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, manage, and execute engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring project scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
2. Coordinate machine installation, production line relocation, commissioning (FAT/SAT), and startup activities.
3. Support capacity expansion, process optimization, automation, and digital manufacturing projects to improve productivity and reduce waste.
4. Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including production trials, process readiness, and cross-functional coordination.
5. Prepare engineering specifications, User Requirement Specifications (URS), layouts, process flow diagrams, Gantt charts, and project documentation.
6. Manage suppliers and contractors to ensure work quality, safety compliance, and timely project execution.
7. Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with company safety standards, ISO, GMP, and engineering requirements.
8. Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, QA/QC, Industrial Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Planning, suppliers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3–5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Engineering Projects, or manufacturing environments.
3. Experience in machine installation, commissioning, production line expansion, or capital projects is highly preferred.
4. Experience in plastic packaging, plastic bottle manufacturing, or related industries is an advantage.
5. Strong knowledge of Project Management, New Product Introduction (NPI), Machine Installation & Commissioning, Blow Molding, Injection Molding, Plant Layout, Utility Systems (Air Compressor, Chiller, Cooling Tower), Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and Risk Assessment.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SolidWorks and ERP/SAP is an advantage.
7. Strong project planning, cost control, vendor & contractor management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, leadership, and teamwork skills.
8. Good command of English.
