The Role

We are seeking a technically capable and organized Project Engineer to support project planning, engineering coordination, technical documentation, and delivery activities. This part-time, fully remote role is suited to a professional who can coordinate multidisciplinary requirements, monitor project progress, resolve technical challenges, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

The successful candidate will help ensure projects remain aligned with technical specifications, schedules, budgets, quality expectations, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities throughout project planning and execution.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, schedules, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, technical deliverables, milestones, and engineering requirements.
• Identify technical risks, design conflicts, delays, and project issues and support timely resolution.
• Review contractor and supplier submissions for compliance with project requirements.
• Support project planning, resource coordination, cost monitoring, and schedule management.
• Maintain accurate project records, technical reports, meeting notes, and progress updates.
• Monitor quality, safety, and technical standards throughout project activities.
• Provide practical engineering recommendations to improve project efficiency, quality, and delivery outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related technical field is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in project engineering, construction, infrastructure, or technical project coordination is preferred.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, project delivery, technical documentation, and coordination processes.
• Knowledge of project scheduling, quality management, risk identification, and technical review procedures.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, project-management platforms, spreadsheets, and digital collaboration tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of health, safety, quality, and project compliance principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with remote and on-site project teams.
