Project Engineer

About the role

Cradotex (M) Sdn Bhd is looking for a capable and organised Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of customer projects—from initial concept and planning through to completion.

You will coordinate day-to-day project activities, work closely with internal teams and customers, and help ensure that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities from initial concept through to final completion.
• Manage day-to-day project department operations and track project progress.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, quality requirements, and delivery milestones.
• Carry out quality checks throughout each project stage and follow up on corrective actions.
• Keep the project team informed of updates, risks, issues, and required actions.
• Work closely with the Senior Project Engineer to support project execution and customer relationships.
• Coordinate with customers to gather technical information and clarify project requirements.
• Respond to customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Contribute to team and individual performance objectives.
• Support project handling and customer coordination as required.

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin speaking will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• A collaborative, organised, and adaptable approach to work.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
