Project Engineer

Common Scope

• Perform civil & structural (C&S), geotechnical, and/or coastal engineering design and analysis for infrastructure and marine projects including reclamation

• Support planning, design development, review, and coordination of engineering deliverables

• Prepare and review technical calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, and presentation materials

• Participate in project planning, scheduling, technical coordination, and progress monitoring activities

• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders

• Support procurement and management of subconsultants and specialist studies (e.g. soil investigation, survey, environmental, instrumentation)

• Participate in site visits, inspections, assessments, and technical discussions

• Support authority submissions and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

• Contribute to tender submissions, technical proposals, and project documentation

• Support project delivery in accordance with technical, quality, safety, cost, and schedule requirements

• Establish and collate users’ requirements from authorities and stakeholders (JTC, MPA, BCA, PUB, SLA and others)

• Actively engage all authorities and stakeholders and ensure all required data for design and cost estimates is compiled

• Manage stakeholders’ requirements collation across the Project

• Support the Project Manager in administrative works including information distribution, report collation and communication support

• Coordinate interfaces with concurrent/adjacent projects (e.g. Tuas Finger 4)

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline recognised by BCA/IES/ACES/PE Board)

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in reclamation projects

• Familiar with the various aspects of reclamation works to communicate effectively with all stakeholders

• Strong coordination, organisation and communication skills in English; team-oriented and adaptable

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
