Project Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for site coordination, technical support, drawing preparation, and ensuring project works are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities to ensure project completion within schedule and budget.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Interpret technical drawings and resolve design or site-related issues.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams on technical and project matters.
• Monitor site progress, quality of work, and compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare work schedules, method statements, and project reports.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and authority requirements.
• Assist the Project Manager in project planning, coordination, and documentation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Main Contractors in Singapore.
• Experience in Addition & Alteration (A&A) and redevelopment projects is required.
• Able to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings independently.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with construction drawing preparation.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and site coordination.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced project environment.
