Project Engineer

About the role

Muar LNG (MLNG) is developing an LNG bunkering, transhipment and regasification terminal at Maharani Energy Gateway, Malaysia. We are a small team building a large project. We are looking for a junior engineer to support the project across budgeting, scheduling and contractor management.

This role involves being continually challenged, working directly with senior management, and learning new subjects regularly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the construction budget for MLNG
• Maintain and update the project schedule
• Prepare and follow up vendor enquiries and quotations
• Handle day to day contractor correspondence and document control
• Support the Technical Manager and CEO with simple engineering tasks and analyses

About you

• Degree in marine or naval architecture, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
• Minimum 1 year of engineering working experience
• Genuine interest in learning and contributing actively
• Organised, reliable and comfortable communicating with vendors and contractors in writing
