Project Engineer

About the role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Engineer to join the dynamic team at C.E.M.B. Engineering Sdn Bhd. This full-time position is based in Northeast Penang Island District, Penang, and will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our engineering projects.
What you'll be doing

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects from concept to completion
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to optimise efficiency and productivity
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement appropriate risk management strategies
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, offering guidance and mentorship as needed
• Collaborate with the project teams to develop innovative solutions and enhance project outcomes under guidance from project manager.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices

·         Work closely with various trades on-site to ensure seamless coordination and timely project completion

What we're looking for

• Degree in Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in relevant engineering building services
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively
• Strong technical expertise and a solid understanding of engineering principles, tools, and methodologies
• Proficient in project management software and tools, with the ability to effectively plan, monitor, and report on project progress
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
