Project Engineer

We are a leading aerospace and defense technology company specializing in advanced satellite communications, RF/electronic systems, and mission-critical technologies. Our products support demanding applications where reliability, performance, and technical excellence are essential.

As we continue to grow our engineering team, we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to take ownership of technical projects from concept and development through to qualification, production, and delivery.

The Role

As a Project Engineer, you will work across multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and to the highest standards of quality.

You will act as a key technical interface between engineering, program management, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex systems involving satellite communications, RF electronics, digital electronics, embedded systems, and other aerospace and defense technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across multiple projects.
• Develop and maintain technical project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate hardware and software development activities with engineering teams.
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical requirements and work packages.
• Manage technical risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Work closely with RF, electrical, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and test engineers.
• Support design reviews, verification and validation activities, qualification testing, and product acceptance.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve technical and production issues.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
• Monitor project progress and communicate technical status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support customer meetings and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable aerospace, defense, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and project execution.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys working on complex technical projects and can operate effectively across different engineering disciplines.

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience working in a project engineering, systems engineering, or technical project role.
• Experience working with complex electronic or aerospace/defense systems.
• Strong understanding of engineering development and product lifecycle processes.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements, specifications, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A structured approach to problem solving and technical decision-making.
