Project Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team and drive the successful planning, design, and execution of projects. In this role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary efforts, manage project schedules, and ensure compliance with technical standards and client specifications. Your expertise in construction management, and system design will be instrumental in delivering innovative solutions for complex infrastructure challenges. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects from conception through completion while collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Experience with metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical assemblies
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to accurately read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Working knowledge of all phases of commercial construction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with construction scheduling, project management, and estimating software
• Team-oriented with a desire to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to represent the company with professionalism

Essential Functions

• Assist Project Managers and Estimators with change pricing, estimating, attending job meetings, scheduling, material acquisition, and other estimating and project management tasks.
• Under the supervision and training of an assigned mentor, perform quantity takeoffs for cold-formed metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and related specialties using The Edge estimating software.
• Manage bid-phase communications with clients and subcontractors
• Collaborate effectively with office and field teams
• Under the supervision and training of an assigned mentor, effectively manage projects from start to finish
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Pay: $73,414.85 - $88,413.59 per year
