Project Engineer

Working closely with the Project Manager, Supervisors and site delivery team, you'll play a key role in managing the successful delivery of highway and intersection projects from construction through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the management and delivery of DTMR projects in a fast-paced construction environment
• Planning and coordinating onsite construction activities across highways, intersections and associated infrastructure
• Supporting cost tracking, procurement and financial reporting across your section of works
• Building strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and key project stakeholders
• Supervising specialist subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
• Managing QA requirements including ITPs, method statements, testing, lot closures and as-builts
• Maintaining accurate daily site records and project documentation
• Working closely with Supervisors to ensure safety and environmental requirements are met
• Ensuring OH&S procedures and a safe working environment are maintained at all times
• Working collaboratively with Project Managers and Engineers to achieve quality, programme and commercial outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience delivering DTMR projects in Queensland
• Proven experience delivering highway and/or intersection projects
• Strong understanding of DTMR specifications, standards and construction requirements
• Experience across roads, earthworks, pavements and associated civil infrastructure
• Strong understanding of QA processes and site documentation
• Experience with cost tracking, reporting and procurement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• A collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a site-based team
• Driver's licence and reliable transport
• Full Australian working rights
