Project Engineer

For a successful, award-winning New Zealand owned design and manufacturing business operating in the utilities and process engineering sectors.

The business operates in engineered systems and projects, designing, manufacturing and installing multi-million dollar fabricated products across New Zealand. The company has developed significant expertise in its area, and needs to add project engineering expertise to cope with growth.

Working to set engineering standards, this hands-on role will cover draughting, estimation, design, scheduling and procurement across the full project life cycle.

A mechanical or fabrication engineering qualification is essential, together with experience in fiancial forecasting and budgets. The role requires at least five years experience in similar roles. AutCAD and SolidWorks experience is desirable, as well as significant experience in the New Zealand engineering sector.

Initiative, relationships and communications skills are core to this busy and multi-functional role.
