With a growing project landscape, this opportunity is perfect for someone looking to grow both technically, and professionally at Ipsen.

  • Evaluate engineering solutions and conduct technical feasibility assessments.
  • Participate in design reviews from concept through detailed design stages.
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation, including user requirement specifications and technical specifications.
  • Ensure engineering activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with GMP, quality and site compliance requirements.
  • Support quality risk assessments and change control activities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and contribute to risk assessments and hazard reviews.
  • Ensure contractors and suppliers operate in line with site safety and environmental expectations.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, quality, validation and EHS teams.
  • Manage relationships with engineering service providers, contractors and equipment suppliers.
  • Support equipment testing activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Coordinate commissioning, qualification and handover activities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working.
  • Support problem-solving and root cause investigations.
  • Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You We're interested in candidates who can demonstrate a combination of technical engineering knowledge and project management capability.

  • Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting or delivering engineering projects in a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively across multiple teams.

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, chemical manufacturing or other highly regulated industries.
  • Membership of, or progress towards membership of, a recognised engineering institution such as IChemE, IMechE or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers and contractors.
  • Accountability for delivering results and meeting commitments.
