Project Engineer

What you'll be doing

1. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects
2. Oversee the day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines
3. Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and engineering data to identify and resolve potential challenges
4. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate effective project delivery
5. Monitor project progress, manage resources, and implement corrective measures as needed
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and practices
7. Provide technical support and mentor junior team members

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar project engineering role within the construction industry
3. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles
4. Proficient in project management tools and software, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Project
5. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects
7. Familiarity with local regulations and safety standards in the construction sector
