Project Engineer

At Connect Group Romania, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our CWS Division . In this role, you will coordinate projects from RFQ to serial production, ensuring technical feasibility, cost accuracy, quality compliance, and on-time execution.

You will work closely with customers, engineering, production, purchasing, and quality teams to bring innovative products successfully to life.

What You'll Do

As a Project Engineer, you will:

✅ Coordinate projects throughout the entire product lifecycle, from quotation to production launch

✅ Prepare and maintain project documentation, technical files, and quotations

✅ Support cost calculations and feasibility assessments for new and existing projects

✅ Review technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements

✅ Follow up on new product introductions and ensure smooth implementation in production

✅ Collaborate with Engineering, ACAD, Production, Quality, and Purchasing teams

✅ Support prototypes, validation activities, and engineering change requests (ECNs)

✅ Monitor project timelines, risks, quality targets, and deliverables

✅ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence

What You Bring

✔ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

✔ Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken

✔ Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills

✔ Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams

✔ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

✔ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

✔ Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ERP systems is considered an advantage

✔ Previous experience in a similar engineering or project coordination role is a plus, but ambitious junior candidates are also welcome to apply
