Project Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to manage and coordinate project activities from planning and execution through completion. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in steel structures, fabrication, erection, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion.
• Review shop drawings, engineering drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor fabrication, installation, and site execution activities.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Prepare and coordinate MIR (Material Inspection Requests) for material inspections and approvals.
• Prepare and coordinate WIR (Work Inspection Requests) for completed works and site inspections.
• Coordinate with consultants/clients for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Coordinate material requirements, manpower, equipment, and project resources.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate inspections, approvals, and handover activities.
• Maintain project documentation, inspection records, and other relevant project reports.
• Support project planning, cost control, and project close-out activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Project Engineering experience.
• Experience in steel structures, structural steel fabrication & erection, PEB, metal works, aluminium, or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of MIR, WIR, inspection procedures, drawings, and project documentation.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
